We are very committed to the mission of Make-A-Wish® and are proud of our teams commitment to the wish children providing hope, strength, and joy to these wonderful families..

We are also fortunate to have colleges in many of our locations and through the athletic departments we have set up funding to support their programs with sponsorship of tournaments and a unique program that returns funds to the college through rooms booked at our properties by visiting guest to the college.

Stay at any of our properties and book the Make A Wish rate, in turn $5.00 of your stay will be donated to the local Make-A-Wish chapter in the town the hotel is located in.

Wishmakers®

Wishmakers are individuals, companies, schools or organizations that underwrite the cost of one or more wishes at an average cost of $3,400. This cost is based on the most popular wish, a trip to Disney World. One hundred percent of Wishmaker donations are used toward the expenses of one or more wishes. Wishmakers receive a complete description of the wish they have funded. Currently our Days Inn Gettysburg and Best Western Westgate Inn York are participating in the program with the Best Western already funding one wish and they are now working on granting a second wish.

Best Western Westgate Inn Present Coaches vs Cancers This event is sponsored in conjunction with the American Cancer Society and York College

Best Western Westgate Inn hosts an evening of fun at the new York Revolution Ball Park inviting 100 wish children and family members to be their guest at the game.

Days Inn Gettysburg hosts the wish children and their families for a Christmas Party each year in December

Days Inn Gettysburg is in the 19th year of hosting the Days Inn Tip Off Tournament at Gettysburg College

Days Inn Gettysburg also hosts the Lady Bullets Basketball tournament each January

The events hosted by Days Inn Gettysburg were done from Nov 2005 – January 2008 during Delaware Hotel Groups ownership of this property.
